We're in Germany!! It took us all day to get to our vacation house in Gengenbach but when we did it was worth the wait. And we saw a couple of castle ruins on our drive down that we can't wait to visit. Will and Jon are happy to be in Germany and they are looking forward to being in the Black Forest.
Our internet here is spotty so I don't know how often I'll be able to post and I probably won't be able to put up any videos. But here is our journey to Germany in pictures.

Will was so excited that he couldn't wait to leave. We took a red-eye flight so all day he would ask, "Can we leave now?"
Our flight was delayed by almost an hour so we had to spend a little extra time in the airport. The boys didn't mind though, they got to play with a new friend! They even shared their new Sonic toys with him.
When we did get on the plane the boys were so excited that they didn't want to settle down. But we were finally able to get them to sleep.

It was evening by the time we got to Gengenbach and it was too dark to take pictures of the beautiful view. We are staying at a farm house on the side of a mountain and from our living room you can see down into the valley. Actually, we are staying in a renovated barn and when we first arrived Will begged to stay in the barn because he thought it looked cooler than the house. Of course the boys were so excited to be here that they ran round and round the house. Finally we were able to get them into bed and they were each able to open a present from Grandma. Note to future self: Presents before bed is NOT a good way to get them to settle down.
